Pineapple Cinnamon Puree

This one is an easy one. Remember, however, to wait the recommended time to introduce your baby to pineapple as it is pretty acidic and can upset his/her stomach.


Ingredients:
One fresh pineapple cut into cubes.
2 stars of anise or ground anise (optional)
About a tsp. of cinnamon
A stick of cinnamon
About a 1 cup of water


In a small pan, add all of the ingredients. Bring water, pineapple, etc. to a simmer and let simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until you can start smelling the spices. Remove from heat and let cool. Discard anise seeds and cinnamon stick. Using a blender or food processor, blend the ingredients together and voila! There you have it!
